Just Crumbs
This song comes from Matthew 15. A woman from Canaan, a Gentile, came to the Lord Jesus Christ because she had a burden for her daughter. After telling her that he was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel, Jesus tests her by saying, “It is not meet to take the children’s bread and to cast it to dogs.” In her response, she shows both her humility and her faith: “Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their master’s table.” The world may view as “crumbs” the things we find dear in the Lord. But those “crumbs” bless our soul and meet our needs.
Let Me Have Revival
This song is a great sing-along song. It will remind you of the three main things that stir the soul when we are in despair: remembering the night God saved us, recalling past answers to our prayers, and reviewing the blessings God has promised us in Christ. I hope that you will learn it and use it as you go about the chores of each day.
My Soul
Among the 9 songs on this CD, this one is our “missionary” song. It uses our habit of communing within our selves to challenge us to serve the Lord Jesus Christ wherever we may go.
