We have the opportunity to enjoy attending the wedding of Miss Angela Humphries to Mr. Van Billingsley on Friday evening, June 8th, in Sanford, N.C., and staying over through Sunday and preaching at Truth Missionary Baptist Church in Moncure, NC, for Pastor Ronald Humphries, Sr., June 10th.  Miss Angela is Dr. & Mrs. Humphries oldest daughter.

My wife Shirley was able to continue with her cancer treatments on yesterday (June 5th).  Her neutrophils were so low the previous week that she was not able to take a treatment.  Neutrophils deal with our immune systems, and hers was too low at the time.  However, they have risen during the week, and we are grateful.

Her cancer is again increasing by the numbers shown through her blood work.  From a high of 7,100 in February of this year to 2,900 seven weeks after starting her new, weekly chemo sessions.  With missing two of the last four weeks, her numbers have risen to 3,800 plus.  Pray that she will have the strength to continue her treatments and that the cancer will again begin to subside, by God's grace.  Thank you!
