Shirley's last visit to the oncologist was Thursday, February 8th.  The CEA's test results from her blood work have not yet been posted.  As of January 11th, her cancer activity count had jumped over 6,400.  The goal is to see it under 100, which it was last April.  Still, she is able to function, and we praise the Lord for that ability!  

There were two new drugs the doctor mentioned that may be the next step, since what has been used is not affecting the cancer, and he mentioned possibly re-visiting two past drugs that had showed dramatic effect when first introduced.  In the short term, she is continuing with her current treatment, and a CT scan has been set for March 1st to see the physical extent of the cancer.  Her next consultation is set for March 8th.

Thank you for your prayers.  The grace of God and His will are what keep her going at this point.  The Lord knows, and we are grateful that our Saviour is in charge of our days.
