We look forward to opening the New Year with Sunday services at Bible Baptist Church, Marietta, GA.  Pastor David Cooper has extended an open door, for which we are very grateful.  Shirley's cancer has been growing now for several months.  The tumor in her colon, is isolated due to the osmotic surgery required in July of 2016, has accelerated its growth, reaching as of Monday, December 11th, a high of 2,926.  In addition, she has developed a back pain that appears from x-rays to be unrelated to the tumor.  We should learn more this coming Monday (December 18th) regarding her back.  For now, the oncologist has prescribed an added pain medication.  God knows.  We are not our own.  We have been bought with a price: the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Through faith in him, our bodies have become the temple of the Holy Ghost, which we have of God.  Our obligation to our Redeemer is to glorify God in our body and in our spirit, which are God's body and spirit (1 Corinthians 5:20).  That is our heart's desire.  Should Shirley remain with me by God's grace, we hope to see Pastor David and his fine congregation on Sunday, January 7th.  Thank you for your prayers.
